ABOUT ME
I have been working as a graphic designer in the Washington, D.C. area for over 20 years. My design skill set is comprised of all forms of print design including logo and identity work, brochures, annual reports, magazines, flyers, packaging, environmental design, and large-scale graphics. I believe that no project is too big or too small.
I received my B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maryland in College Park.
I also attended collegiate art and design programs at RISD and Richmond, The American University in London. In addition to graphic design, I have experience with many forms of art but especially love photography, drawing, and painting.
I have a passion for animal adoption and I often lend my graphic design talents and abilities to help out local organizations through logo design, social media advertising, and other promotional efforts. I am a contributing member of HeARTs Speak, an organization uniting art and advocacy in order to increase the visibility of shelter animals.
In 2020, I won a design contest for the 2021 Cherry Blossom Ten Miler. This annual race of 20,000 people through the streets of Washington, D.C. is one of my favorite races. It was thrilling to see my design on so many runners!
When I'm not designing, I enjoy spending time with my family, our rescue dogs Annie and Winnie, running, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. I am a chocolate fanatic and enjoy traveling any chance I get.
Thank you for visiting and I look forward to talking with you.
